Agriculture industry faces tractor theft, Spring 2020.
At the end of March, an agricultural worker was targeted for heavy machinery theft. Unfortunately for these thieves, Cellutrak had been installed on one of the two stolen Case tractors at his local Kubota dealership. The GPS tracking device recorded all the locations of the machines from the time it was stolen up until it’s final destination. Cellutrak’s 24/7 customer service worked directly with the Halton Regional Police to provide them with all real time information requested including snapshots and specialized reporting to help obtain the necessary search warrant.
According to a deputy from the Halton Regional Police, “As a result of the search warrant the two stolen tractors as well as a third tractor which was stolen from a separate incident was also located. Officers relied upon the GPS location and further investigative techniques to locate and retrieve the stolen tractors.”
