October 2022 — Cellutrak’s 24/7 recovery team received a call from a Montreal-based leasing company that indicated one of their high-end
vehicles had been stolen in Ontario. In the middle of the afternoon, this vehicle was stolen straight out of the shopping mall’s parking lot
and taken to another location to be monitored. The thieves used a jammer to try to block the GPS signal and removed the Range Rover
telematics device. Not knowing that a Cellutrak unit had been installed, the Cellutrak recovery team disabled the vehicle and the repossession
unit recovered the vehicle by end of the afternoon.
